chetna makan’s dahi masala chicken curry

I can’t take credit for this delicious chicken curry by Chetna Makan, who is known for her healthy and simple Indian dishes, but it’s definitely a staple in my home. Cozy, nourishing and easy to whip up, it’s the perfect weekday meal (especially in the fall and winter when we’re drawn to more warming foods). The recipe calls for yogurt, but you can sub in coconut yogurt if you’re dairy-free. And no need to add in water if you’re using canned tomatoes! I love having it with brown rice and a handful of raisins sprinkled on top. I hope you like it as much as I do.
