mango kéfir smoothie

I have a kéfir smoothie every morning, and I swear it is pure magic! Kéfir is packed with good bacteria, making this drink an excellent choice for anyone looking to boost their gut health. Many people who are lactose intolerant find that they can even tolerate kéfir because of the good bacteria and lower lactose content.

I also find smoothies containing dairy so much more satisfying and an easy way to get more bioavailable protein, calcium, and b vitamins; my nails have been growing like crazy ever since adding this drink to my morning routine! As the weather warms up, I love using mango for a fun, refreshing change.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 banana

  • A few mango chunks

  • 1 cup of kéfir

  • 1 ice cube

  • Optional: flaxseeds
